Professional Video Production
We have been in production since Sony first developed their EIAJ ½” “Porta Pak” system, that was our owner’s first camera. Our production protocols and services are “network quality”, and our production people are at that level. From concept development, to scripting, to production, through post-production, and distribution, Hackshaw communications has the history, skills, and resources to deliver the highest level production.
A/V Services
Hackshaw Communications A/V services are as extensive and professional as our other services. From small breakouts, to large ballrooms, to virtual and hybrid meetings, to convention centers, and to arenas, Hackshaw Communications is your 1-stop shop for services.
Production Management
Any successful event requires professional management. Locations, crews, equipment, budgets, finances, travel, meals, accommodations, and every aspect of production requires management.
From having developed a non-profit 501c3 Media Company in St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands, to building a TV station after having received a FCC low power TV license, to managing hundreds of productions, Hackshaw Communications has the required professional skills and resources to manage any type of production.
Convention & Conference Planning
Our Convention and Event Planning Services are extensive. We have relationships with CVB’s, Convention Centers, and Hotel brands ( domestically and internationally). We negotiate hotel block contracts (we specialize in no-attrition clauses), negotiate union concessions at convention centers (and hotels), and are very comfortable with 2,500 rooms on peak, with 7,500 room nights.
Our AV background helps in reducing A/V production costs for clients. Contact Hackshaw Communications if you need help planning a conference or convention.
Video and AV Training
A person can know production, but that doesn’t mean they can teach it.
Hackshaw Communications has a verified history of developing Video/AV training programs, whether it be for the economically disadvantaged, educationally deprived, or workforce skills training for entry into new career paths. Contact Hackshaw Communications to discuss skills training programs, sessions, workshops, and/or curriculum development.
Global Media Services Group is the international arm of Hackshaw Communications. With a production operation being developed in Monrovia, Liberia (headed by Mustapha Kommeh) and Kigali, Rwanda, GMSG will focus on servicing the entire international community. GMSG is presently developing a documentary on the Hutu-Tutsi genocide as a means to help the Black community in America come together, as well as understand the European hand behind the genocide.

Working with Hackshaw communications to produce a virtual 80th celebration for my father resulted in a GRAND celebration. Ademah and his staff professionally managed all of the details of our production and delivered a “show” beyond our expectations!

Former Customer Supplier Relations Manager - OMED Program at Georgia Tech
As Customer Supplier Relations Manager in OMED, my responsibilities included connecting our talented students with the many opportunities Georgia Tech’s recruiting community offered. We had a slight problem in conveying our message to our audiences. I knew a picture is worth a thousand words, so in my thinking a video / infomercial would be just the ticket to our marketing problems.
During the process of planning our revamped Tower Awards program, our staff was referred to Ademah. It was his videography, production skills and connections that allowed OMED to make a promotion piece that served the organization well. My goal was to leave OMED in a better position than when I arrived, and I believe I did that. Ademah was invaluable in that effort, and we would not have had such a rapid change without his assistance.
